Cuando alguien te dice Venice Beach, lo primero que se te viene a la mente son playas, chicas californianas y hasta alguna hamburguesa grasosa que puedes comer en cualquier cadena de fast food. Pues no, siento decirles que se equivocan. Venice Beach son unos chicos de Paris que así como muchos productores franceses están creando una escena local de música disco muy interesante o como algunos le comienzan a llamar el Neo-French Touch.....
Estos chicos acaban de sacar su primer sencillo y tuvimos que entrevistarlos para ver de que iba este rollo.

ESPAÑOL:
1.¿Qué pasa en Paris? Están saliendo muchos productores increíbles de Disco! Me recuerda a aquella escena que vivimos en los 2000´s con Ed Banger...
-Bueno digamos que muchos de nosotros crecimos escuchando el French Touch y ahora es un buen momento para producir música en Paris. Sin embargo hay otra escenas que llama mucho la atención como en America y México.
2.Describan su música en pocas palabras
-Mar, Sexo y mucha energía....
3.Sabemos que comenzaron haciendo edits de clásicos increíbles. ¿Cuál sería la corriente que mayor influencia ha tenido en sus ultimas producciones?
-Bueno es difícil de decir por lo melómanos que somos pero creo que Italo Disco y Boogie Funk probablemente.
4.Acaban de regresar de una gira por America.¿ Cuál fue la reacción de la gente por allá? ¿Algún herido? ¿Se quemo alguna pista de baile? ¿Alguna sobredosis?
-Fue super bueno, seguimos diciendo a nuestros colegas que cuando tocamos en DC, la gente subia a la pista de baile antes de pedir sus copas, no lo podíamos creer.
5.Diganos como "Closer" se convirtió en uno de los temas más hypeados en menos de 2 semanas.
-En realidad es una mezcla de todo, la composición del track en si es muy buena y aparte los remixes de Michael, Lazaro y Tighe funcionaron muy bien.
¿En verdad "Wanderlust" en Paris es tan increíble como todos dicen? O solo van decir que si, por que ustedes son los residentes....
-En realidad si, cada fin de semana los line up son espectaculares y toda la gente que toca ahí se compromete a brindar nuevos tracks a la pista de baile.

-Una ocasión tocamos en un bar sin licencia. Era bastante extraño , incluso el manager era muy amigable con nosotros pero no entendíamos nada...

1: What a hell is going on in Paris? So many sick producers of disco these days! It reminds me like in the 2000's Ed Banger.
-Well, let’s say we all listen to a lots of french touch while we were younger! Paris is a great place to make disco right now, but it would be unfair to not mention other scene, like America and México.! It’s really hot down there too!
2: Describe your music in a few words.
-Sea, Sex and a lots of Sun!
3: We know you guys began making pretty good edits of classics. Which wave will be the one who influence your releases the most?
-Well, it’s hard to say. Closer is a composed track but when we did it we had in mine a mix between Italo Disco and Boogie Funk genre.
4: You made your first tour in America. How was the perception of the people with your acts? It was a murder in the dance floor? Anyone Hurt? Some OD?
-It was incredible! We had so much fun! We keep telling the story how surprised we were when we played in DC, People came on the dance floor before getting drinks at bar! Can’t wait to go back!
-Well, I think it is the most accomplished track we released so far. And the collaboration with Lavinia, and the remixes by Michael, Lazaro and Tighe worked out really well! We’re really proud of it, and it’s fun to see people dance on it!
6:Is it "Wanderlust" as great as they say? Or your going to come up with a funky story because you are residents there?
-Well, we really think this club is special. Line ups are always amazing and there is a really good partying and disco culture overthere. People are always really responsive to new tracks or obscure ones in your set! Then yes, it’s as they say ;)

Ramdom place you have ever play and why?
-We played once is a small town non licensed bar. The all thing was really weird. It was like a random non official Festival. The "director" was a very supportive friend. What a night!
Which place in the world would you like to play?
-At the SuperBowl
